Crash and burn...

You see that quote up there? Its from an interview I recently saw with the former Vice President in which he showed great personality and humour. Yes! Personality! The thing that might have put him over the top in the Presidential election if he would have just been a little less stiff. In fact, he was tremendously likable and witty with much better comedic timing than his interviewer, Jay Leno. Who knew.

I guess the big news was the plane "crash" in Toronto yesterday. I put it in quotations because to me, a CRASH means falling from the sky, or exploding on impact and charred remains strewn all over the landscape. In this case, the plane just sort of tootled along and rolled off the end of the runway into a ditch where it started on fire several minutes later. Lame. Its like calling opening-your-car-door-and-denting-the-vehicle-beside-you, a car crash. It just doesn't fit. Sure it seemed all devastating afterwards when the bitch burnt up like a overtoasted French baguette, but otherwise, it was a total let down. Not even any serious injuries...BORRR-ing.
